Hi everyone. Aussie here. I hear a lot about the 107. What does it allow? What are the penalties for neglecting to obtain a 107? I am looking at paying AUD$4500 to be able to commercially fly drones over the public and at night with a weight max of 27kg i think. What is the cost of a 107?

Ok, so I'm officially dumbfounded. Not a stretch I guess...however, on the subject of compass in devices for aircraft orientation I am stumped. My Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 lite is a model with no compass. So shouldn't aircraft orientation be off? I tested rigorously on the mini and orientation...

I use a 2020 galaxt tab s6 to fly both my mini and my zoom. However, specs say that I don't have a compass. Should I be flying with the s6? I've been doing ok so far I believe. Or has that just been stupid lucky?
