Exposure issue in panorama mode [Resolved]

Well it's clearly a bug, and it's obviously not something unusual as several other people have had the exact same problem. I think it might be because it was a cloudy day, and so clouds were passing in front of the sun during the shot. The mavic takes a long time to complete a panorama, and so...

Newbie - Air or Pro for first buy?

You have a point, I edited my post to add that. Sometimes you really do need to stay in the air a few minutes more to finish a shot. However I'd still say that if that's the case, you'd still be better off waiting for the Pro2, which will probably have even better battery life along with an...

Newbie - Air or Pro for first buy?

The Mavic Air camera is almost indistinguishable from the Mavic Pro camera though? In fact the only test I noticed a significant difference in, was the 4k test, where the Air was hugely better than the Pro. Just did a quick search for a comparison. Photos are identical. Pro has a slight...

Newbie - Air or Pro for first buy?

The Air and the Pro are basically identical in the imaging front. The Pro has a slightly (very slightly) better lens, but the Air does 100mbps 4k which is much more noticable. So basically if you want 4k get an Air, if you want 1080p or Photos... get an Air. There's no reason not to. Unless you...

Exposure issue in panorama mode [Resolved]

I did a couple panoramas today, and had your exact same problem. First in Auto mode, with every shot showing the same settings, but the results were a patchwork of light and dark 'squares' of landscape. Second was in Manual mode. Except I notice that the EV option doesn't have a manual...

[Solved] Lack of sharpness in distance with Air compared with Pro?

I have only done a few test shots on my air, and it was a cloudy day so certainly not in anywhere near as optimal conditions as that Pro shot, but I personally thought the camera looked pretty sharp at distance. Will have to test it in a sunny day soon though.

Any new mavic owners getting or just got Care Refresh?

Old thread I know, but it seems to be one of the more recent ones with relevant info so I figured I'd stick with it. Unfortunately the UK doesn't have anything similar to state farm insurance. The cheapest I have found is FlyIcarus with about £200 for a year including fly away and theft...

    Insurance in uk help

I've also been looking into this, and I got a quite from Coverdrone for my Air... £275, with a £300 excess. So if I crash or lose the drone, it'll be £575 I paid, and the drone costs what, £700? Not worth it. FlyIcarus has come up with a little under £200 for the year, and a 10% excess (so...
