DJI has done some very smart things in moving everything they can but the lens and sensor out of the stabilized portion of the gimbal, allowing a 1" sensor camera on a very small platform. i'm really enjoying mine, but there are definitely some major compromises in the lens and overall imaging...

great shots guys. i have to say, i never would have remotely imagined even a half second exposure could be sharp from an aerial platform. i’ll have to try it asap!!

i fly from TI all the time. i'm not 100% sure of the legality of it - technically i'm sure most of the takeoff spots are private property, but on a weekend early morning it's deserted, not within any other restricted airspace, and there are some great shots to be had of SF as well as just a good...
