Your drone has switched from FCC to CE bandwidths. Easy enough to hack it back into FCC mode (check Youtube for tutorials), but remember to press cancel when it gives you that wifi dialogue box in future.

If by selfie modes you mean quickshot modes then YES, these are in fact incredibly useful. I didn’t realize the Mavic 2 doesn’t have these. You can get some truly beautiful/cinematic results with them (circle is my favorite)
