Your drone has switched from FCC to CE bandwidths. Easy enough to hack it back into FCC mode (check Youtube for tutorials), but remember to press cancel when it gives you that wifi dialogue box in future.
If by selfie modes you mean quickshot modes then YES, these are in fact incredibly useful. I didn’t realize the Mavic 2 doesn’t have these.
You can get some truly beautiful/cinematic results with them (circle is my favorite)
My wife is Korean, and God knows she rules our home with an iron fist, but I've not yet had to ask permission to go out and fly:p This is subject to change though, first child due in June.
Resolve and Power Director are in two completely different leagues. Resolve will usurp Premiere Pro as the number one prosumer editing platform in the near future. That's my prediction. But yeah, you'll need a graphics card for that.
CPU is important to video editing, but it's your graphics card that'll determine how your machine handles 4k footage. I have a Core i5 with GTX 1050 Ti. 4k editing isn't really an option, so I record everything in 4k, edit it on a 1080p timeline, then copy the project onto a 4k timeline when I'm...
Drones aren't toys brah, they're a lifestyle:cool:
Seriously though, to most people here, drones are a creative tool. Imagine a serious musician looking to get a new guitar. Would he call it a 'toy'? Yes, it would be fun to play (and drones can be fun to fly), but its primary purpose is art.
Heard Dubai is pretty strict on their drone regulations.
I live in Korea. I love how drone friendly it is here. I fly all over, all of the time (I even flew in the middle of Seoul once), and haven't received a single complaint.
Hope the arabs cut you some slack so you can use that Mavic 2 to...
+1 for iPad Mini 4. I switched over from my iPhone 6s and haven't looked back. iPhone battery would plummet from 100% to 20% over the course of a single flight. 20 minutes of flight time will barely put a dent in the iPad. And the bigger screen gives a much more immersive experience.
As for...
Nice, I got some sweet shots in and around Cape Town with my Mavic Air. Launched it from a cave on the side of Lion's Head and nearly couldn't get it back. Took off without a homepoint (GPS wasn't functioning from the cave). Generally speaking though, RTH has saved this drone too many times to...
Wait... You have to actually ask your wife for permission to fly?
I got married a week ago. Is this my future?
P.S the shots of those geese are downright fantastic. Well done, Sir.
So today I had the bright idea of trying to fly my beloved Air from the window of my 10th floor apartment (I live in a massive apartment building, typical here in Korea). I held it outside the window, fired it up and let go. The drone immediately drifted back into the wall (quite an impact)...
