I kinda did think that tbh, you'd be dumb to send off the product with third party accessories on it, even if you where to send it off, you're not going to be sending the SD card (So no flight data or video proof) and you could always do the "Fast repair" which means you skip the damage...

@Thanev - My email came back from DJI today, they consider any third party part, even one they sell on their own website as something that will mess with the refresh plan. I don't think they quite get the wording of stuff because of the language barriers. I guess this is the problem with buying...

Fair, I'm looking into my home / contents insurance policies instead right now tbh.

But they offer a sticker kit which customizes the drone, I'm sure they mean in anyway that would modify the drone in a way that would make it malfunction, the fact that they sell the covers on the Accessories website means that you shouldn't have an issue.

Id say the same thing, it’s confusing, but I’ve kept that email log from DJI directly. Clearly this person has had a bad experience but if they’re saying that to me, just contact them via web chat and see what they say.

I was concerned about this and so I just spoke to DJI on their web chat service, they will fix the drone, just not the attached accessories, so basically if it doesn’t come in the box then you’re out of luck.
