Was your gimbal pointed upward past 0 degrees before it happened? If so the gimbal probably ran out of space to tilt upward when the drone tilted down to go forward.

That seems like a good schedule but don't stress yourself out about it. The drone uses smart batteries so it will reduce its charge to 96% after 24 hours and then 60% after 5 days to preserve the battery cells.

Free case + no sales tax is really hard to beat. Plus in the grand scheme of things, waiting a few extra days or weeks isn't going to change anything; I'll still get to fly it eventually.
