Let's look at it another way. If it's calm on the ground it does not mean its calm up higher. The best way to Guage is to look at your drone in the air and look also at the rpm on your rc control. If it rises and falls it's likely attempting to compensate for wind. Also when flying around...
I had the same thing happen to me last week. Luckily I was flying very low because the rc had disconnected once already. Yes the rc not just the video feed. I was able to get get the on board video showing it crash when I retrieved the bird. Note 4
Also note thI'd was b4 this week's update...
Yup. Have just posted on another thread but thought this to be a good place to get more feedback. I have mine set to hover if control lost. It happened 30 feet up in the air (yet so near yet do far":)
There was no control. Video also stopped
Joysticks dead. No reaction to input whatsoever.
I...
This happened to me more than once or twice before...loosing app view yet retained rc control.
It would disconnect but would I be able to still rc control mavic. After update on mavic (while viewing with note 4) I actually lost connection *control and video feed! It just hovered there 30 feet...
Appreciate the share. Chin up. It is an unnerving feeling when Panic sets in because the mavic isn't responding and doing what we think it's doing. Been there done that.
Cheers
This happens to me often. It also has an interference issue. But seems to fly OK. Now I can't fly at all because of some darn init map error after the update but that's another thread.o_O
UPDATE found the issue with missing init map 0n Android note 4... had developer agent active. if anyone...
