O4 definitely existed in the DJI lab when the motion controller was created. They may have put O4 hardware in the motion controller 2.

I believe if it’s not being flown, you have absolutely nothing to worry about.

Does anyone know if the Motion Controller 2 is connected to the Air 3 with O4 or does it drop back to O3 for the connection?

They same thing would happen to my Mavic 3 Thermal when executing a waypoint mission. It’s like it was having a difficult time finding it’s heading.
