That was exactly the reason for my post--hoping someone had found the info before me.

Yes, I saw that site and its numerous mentions of the CR Drone Map...however, not a single link (that I could find) was there.

Going to Costa Rica next week. Have registered the drone on the proper web site, but having some challenges finding definitive info regarding no-fly zones. I know, for example, that flying OVER Nat'l parks there is prohibited, but would love to have along an easy to use map that I can use when...

I use this feature all the time, with careful monitoring, of course. And yes, very impressive. God help us all when these things become self-aware!

I hiked up and camped at the top overnight hoping for a sunrise, but woke up inside a cloud instead. Bummer. I didn't launch the drone until almost everyone was gone so as to not annoy people. The only other small group that WAS there were also flying :-)

To be honest, I don't recall, but I remember having to zoom in a lot to be able to see all of the different areas.

I've been doing some pretty basic Part 107 work for the past 5 or so years. It's 99% CRE (Commercial Real Estate) so the money is pretty bottom of the barrel. However, I enjoy doing these easy assignments. It gets me out of the house (I'm retired) and gives me an excuse to fly my Air 3S. Lately...

I shot this one a number of years ago. Might give you a couple of ideas. Also, if you're Part 107, consider flying some of the skyscrapers downtown. I was surprised how much of the city is wide open airspace wise.
