    Thanks - I didn't know that. I suspect the drone will resist being turned. Also: If I were to use the 'string' method being discussed above, that wouldn't be possible, so I'm hoping I can use the controller.

    Ah - thank you. I tried both sticks inward and down (which I thought was how it was set up on mine) but perhaps I didn't wait long enough. Obviously people don't want to do that accidentally during flight.

    Flying with an iPad mini is great!

    Sounds good! I have iPad mini 4 without cellular, and an old iPad 2 with. What will I miss if I use the 4 (i.e. no GPS and no Internet)? If I download offline maps, will it give accurate position for the Mavic on the map? I assume so. Will RTH work? I assume so, if the Mavic has set its launch...
