Started as a solid #1 - still learning my flying and making new moves in my head but with an eye to moving to #2
Started learning to fly in lockdown so was confined to my local area and don't currently have transport so getting anywhere exciting for shots is not possible atm.
My watch has built in 4G (LTE for Americans) and GPS built in, never had a problem but I hand launch with my right hand and my watch is on the left. 🤷♂️
If you run Android, get the Tasker App and autoWear and your watch can do anything, I can say "DJI" to my watch and my phone opens DJI fly app.
I've got my phone to say out loud the drone battery percentage every 5 minutes, very handy.
As an Android user I can't fault the TickWatch Pro 3 GPS I've got, the battery in normal mode lasts as long as my phone battery so I charge them together and I've made my own watchface to show me exactly what I want.
It has a second LCD screen above the AMOLED one that shows you basic info ...
Aside from all the very valid points considering the absolute bone-headedness/illegality of this flight raised in this thread.....
Is anyone else just shaking their head at the appalling footage? Guess they didn't read the manual about tripod mode ;)
Welcome from another n00b - watch tutorials on flyaways if this is your first drone, respect the wind, is a shot worth the money you paid? Happy flying and welcome to the community.
Thanks y'all - here's a little video I did yesterday before I got threatened, and yes I have passed my exams to fly over roads ;)
Just learning shot framing whilst flying, also manual object tracking on the fly (excuse the pun) vis. the bus shot.
I'm now fitting a 2-5 stop PolarPro VND filter...
