I had issues with compass after playing with the simulator on the app for 10-15min and the drone couldn't fly after that (smelt electronic burnt smell)... Compass\Gps errors occurred... Replaced GpS\CompasS n now flys flawless...

GpS\CompasS isn't the most reliable by design cause it gives off heat n it's tiny surface mounted chips that is soldered by heat... It doesn't take much to cold solder or damage itself...

The GpS\CömpäsS is çömbïned on 1 board in the bäk of drone...

Can't wait to see what kind of problems arise from the MP2... Want to see the internals of the components inside (to modify) to determine if ïmä buy one... As time progresses components get smaller and smaller... I've learned as things get tiny heat becomes an issue... Ï have a 25+yr old regular...

Just wondering how long the update took n how long was the drone ön before the update..? My guess and from all the other threads i read on other posts is the drone overheated n fried the compass\gps... My friend has a drone with the same problem n we changed the compass\gps #1 and drone is cherry...

Ummm people fly with Crystal Sky screens, iPads & Mini IPads without using cellphone capabilities... I wonder how is that possible..? :rolleyes:

The first & second part of ür test ü followed is correct... Icon on dji app supposed to move when u physically twist the drone in any position immediately... So ur gps\compass is bad cause ur imu calibrated good u say... I wouldn't try to fly it anymore sad to say...

Power up drone n power up remote... Wait till the all ready to take off comes on... Then pick up drone without turning ön motors and turn drone left or right... The icon of ur drone should turn the same time and direction as ur turning the drone if not (delayed or compass error comes on the...

I'm afraid of frying the remote or drone at 1.5 watts... :eek:

No fix for it... Mïnë still flyes fine it does it sometimes only... The gimbal is magnetic when it's on & it moves n being that its in close proximity to çompass #2 there's pretty müçhë nothing ü can do...

Seems to me like the motor is spinning the wrong way if the arm ü replaced is being leaned upon... Wire could be on backwards... :rolleyes:
