I tried that but got too much wobble but I'm sure with some effort you could do out a lot tidier.

I use a pair of $2 2x reader glasses. Just popped out the lenses from the readers and used blu tack to hold them in place on top of the screens inside the goggles. Works great!

Use the left wheel which gives you analog-type control of the camera tilt (make sure the wheel is assigned as camera tilt), the 5D button is more digital-type (all or nothing).

Thanks for this. I was wondering why my batteries were so low when I had left them fully charged about 10 days prior. Learned that all the batteries were low when I was in the field. Kinda ruined that day's flying. My bad.

I just connect the SD to my PC and 'move' the files to my desktop. = empty SD card after every flight.

In my experience (and I'm a noob), you can only tilt the camera yourself, you cannot pan the camera, only the entire drone. However, if you use any of the tracking stuff, the camera will pan on the gimbal automatically until the drone HAS to move/rotate/pan in order to keep the subject in shot...

Everything works fine for me on the S8 so far but I haven't tested extensively.
