Biggest issue will be overheated screens on iPhone or iPads. Be sure and fly from underneath shade to protect them from going dark, losing your video feed and access to the app. You will still have full control over the drone through the sticks...

Plus, any future firmware updates to the bird could possibly render the after market batteries useless. I know first hand about that with my Mavic 3 Classic

Be careful where you buy them you don't want to have the nicest looking drone at the bottom of the lake ;)
