How about Polk County (central Florida)?

    Mavic air 2 in 2025

I still have (and love) my MA2, but the only thing I would be worried about is DJI support; I'm not talking about warranty support, I'm talking about firmware support. It seems as though firmware updates stopped about a year ago with the addition of RID (v01.01.1600) and while it's a solid...

How long do batteries last when shipped?

That's a really good question: have you asked DJI? From experience with other Lithium battery types, I would question a "shelf life" of > 2 years. For example, I purchased a "new" Lithium battery module for an EV (high-dollar, high-capacity)...and it was "stone dead" (e.g. unusable) with a...

    Go Home (RC Disconnected)

How come stories that start like this never end well? The obvious question has already been asked and answered (why don't you post the actual logs)...so that's that with that.

    Mars?

Ingenuity (the official name of the Mars "helicopter") was a huge success in many ways, and every "mission" had to be pre-programmed to run autonomously. Not to mention you can't just "swap out" batteries on the surface of Mars! The mission is officially over, but you can read all about it on...

    Worth upgrading?

I'll be honest: I don't know what some of you guys do with multiple (even similar) drones! I have had an MA2 for several years now and can't imagine spending the money (let alone the time) on another drone without some "special" features (and I'm not just talking about an increase in camera...

    Battery storage - hibernation mode

You have some good advice, but I think it's a bit extreme compared to what I do. First: I don't trust any battery to self-discharge (at least to the proper capacity). I always store my batteries ~50% after flying (no matter how long in between use), and charge them to 100% right before flying...

DJI Mavic air 2 needing second activation after repair(issue)

Not saying this will work in your case (they may have done some sort of "reset" after the repair), but whenever I have had these issues with my MA2 (activation/unable to takeoff/etc), a simply power cycle the controller--but not the drone--and I get the "ready to takeoff" in the app/screen.

An oldy choosing a new Drone

I'll tell you what my friend told me ~5 years ago when I wanted to buy my first drone: don't buy anything with the word "mini" in the name. It was good advice, and my MA2 is still going strong (and I've never had a problem with wind/stability).

    Am I Crazy

No you aren't: I still fly (and love) my Air 2 periodically. As long as you can still get batteries (they are compatible with newer drones), you should remain operational.

    "UNABLE TO TAKE OFF" MESSAGE

I've been getting lots of these Error Code 30064 lately...and I'm here to tell you it's never what it actually says. I'm able to clear it with a re-boot/re-start of the controller and/or app, after which the error message goes away like nothing ever happened. Very frustrating that they basically...

Battery separated from drone prior to crash DJI Air2S

Would be interested to know the age/how many flights of that battery.

Got a visit while flying near Denver Broncos stadium today at 5:40am

Sounds like an over-zealous security team; I have encountered similar. However, I did not have that problem when flying over Truman Sports Complex in KC (home of the Royals and Chiefs).

New Mavic 2 batteries, keep uncharged, or charge immediately?

All Lithium battery types are affected by how "deeply" they are cycled and the temperatures they are exposed to (especially during charging). You don't say what climate you live in or how you cycle your batteries (I don't deep cycle and store them @50%), but I suspect you were more smart than lucky.
