Is that a brand new battery (it says "times charged = 1")? Like you never flew it before "charging up" this first time?
Based on the fact that all the data shown looks "normal", I suppose it's possible the battery gave out. If you had flown it at least once (especially enough to require a second...
The only thing I haven't seen mentioned is a UV filter for the camera PGYTECH. It's not so much a "filter" as it is protection from scratching the (actual) camera lens...which wouldn't be good.
The other thing was the Yagi-Uda extender antenna from STARTRC (which has been mentioned).
I tried experimenting with (DIY) higher-capacity batteries on my MA2...and (long story short) the additional weight negates much of whatever capacity you can add. I piggy-backed mine with an external XT60 connector.
Cut to the chase: if you have an "older" PC (mine is ~10 years old), then it most likely won't play 4k video files no matter what you do (H264/265/whatever). My solution? I record most things on my drone in HD (1080p), which both saves on file size and PC horsepower. Most folks can't tell the...
If you haven't charged/used that battery in 5 years...I think it's gone. You really need to exercise any Lithium-based battery at least a couple times a year (and that's pushing it).
Let's put it this way: I'm in no hurry to "upgrade" my MA2 (and give it up). If they hadn't done a Remote ID firmware update, not sure I would have purchased another DJI product.
This is what I do...even for "normal" releases. I haven't updated firmware for awhile, and I have learned there is no benefit to being first with firmware updates (especially when you can't revert to a previous release)! The "Remote ID" update will definitely be one that I'll wait for others to...
I guess I'm turning into a "keeper"...if I ever buy another drone! As long as my MA2 keeps on keeping on, I'm happy with it. The only wildcard is RID: don't know how/when I'll address that.
I have had glaucoma (in 1 eye) for decades, but still see pretty well due to aggressive treatment (laser surgeries to relieve pressure)...so stay positive. I will put drops in that eye (Timolol) every night for the rest of my life.
Don't understand why he said both retinas are damaged since...
As was mentioned, the best way to "cool" the battery is to get it out of the drone.
However--just as important--is to not charge while hot...and balance that with not letting an almost empty battery (<20%) sit around like that for an extended period (like more than a day). If you have to fly a...
