Ok guys.. I am not a traitor... but I have had the drone bug for a long long time and I couldn't wait anymore.. I ended up buying a Phantom 4 and I am in love with it! I still would love to join you guys though to go flying and compare and help each other!!!

Ed, I am curious.. Why does the Mavic have so many more steps in calibrating the IMU than the Phantom.. Call me lazy (lol) but I love to just find a nice level surface and let the drone do all the work.

Why is the calibration so different from the Phantom?

Just found this review online.. Funny read if you get a little over halfway through it.. The author mentions trying to bring it home and fighting headwinds.. He pushed return to home and it started flying back with no problem.. Think this could be a controller issue?? DJI Mavic Pro Review...

I hope you're right. The problem is not many have received their mavic yet. A comparison to the Note 7 issue was made and if the mavic is as popular as it seems then there's definitely cause for concern. If these things are going out of control, it's only a matter of time before they hurt...

Oh okay lol, I was confused I'm sorry.. I was hoping that it does still pull data from the individual cells.. Kinda had me worried..

So where you set up the low battery warning levels it doesn't show an overview of the cells in the app?

I would just record indoors with it (not flying) for over ten minutes to find out since you have the Mavic already..

I thought that through the DJI Go app you can actually see each individual cells values??

I want to see him fly it with his phone only.. Also I wonder what redesign was done to it since the earlier versions had sticks that were removable..

Off topic a little, but is there a fan in the controller or something? Sounds like something spun up at 6:57.. I wonder if there might be a problem with the controllers..
