If that were me on the boat and I saw drone fFOLLOWING MEOUT TO SEA, I'd be angry and maybe consider if it was a government drone and get pretty angry about the government following me. heck, if you were following me just walking around, I'd get angry then, as well. I think what you done was rude.

Agreed. Only official drones permitted to make any money off this 'sport'.

One of the requirements, as I understand it, is that the drone be within sight of the operator (or accompanying assistant, etc.). From your footage, it doesn't look like this was the case which to me makes the flight not in compliance with the rules.

There is nothing worse than having a bad relationship with a neighbor, over anything. In the main I agree with letting it go but, always be on the lookout for a chance at making it up with him. Perhaps have a Bar-B-Q and invite a few close neighbors, including him. Then take that chance to...
