Didn't even realise mine had updated automatically, I 've flown without issue since. Wish you'd get some heads-up of a firmware update though. None recently but it's a PITA when you go out to fly and have to wait 10' and 1 battery for the update to complete.

My 12.9" plays 4k videos. Initially had problems downloading 4k videos from my new Air, lowered the frame rate and now it works fine.
