I used extinguisher rated for chemical fires, home type. Worked fine on a lipo fire when I brainlessly charged a 3 s pack at 4 s.. Resultant fire was in basement and impressive! Cover with sand works as well. Again smothers the fire. Lipos combust when abused somehow, not spontaneously. Lion...

I'm confused as to the advantage to being under 250 grams other than registering yourself as pilot in the US. You still have to fly by the rules regardless of weight. Registration here in the states doesn't change that.

Ditto. I had the Same experience. Turns out I was just at the very end of restricted zone from an airport five miles away. Its a zone on the dji go4 app that didn't show on Litchi. I was lucky as I started off onto water and just managed to bring back i not the shore line.
