Just because he is an approved vendor doesn't mean what people think don't matter much, that is just your opinion which doesn't matter much. See what I did there?
Hi PrettyGirlFlys, download Airmap on your phone. This app will let you know if you can fly. Also if you are within 5 miles of an airport you need to submit a request for permission to fly (Class B, C, D and E airspace). This app allows you to submit a request to fly in that area and receive a...
I have the Ipad 4 Mini which I use with my Mavic Pro and Mavic Pro 2. It works great with the DJI Go 4 app, never had any issues with it. I put an anti glare screen on it (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0149F5KK6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and also bought a sun hood...
My Mavic Pro is wrapped in Wrapgrade Fluorescent Yellow. I have had no problems with it and it is definitely more visible. It has been wrapped for 2 years now and hasn't peeled. Wrapgrade makes excellent wraps imo. I plan on getting another Wrapgrade skin for my Mavic 2 Pro.
I have been using my iPad 4 Mini for a couple of years now to fly my Mavic Pro and Mavic 2 Pro with no issues whatsoever. I have seen a lot of posts from people recommending the iPad 4 Mini for flying their DJI birds. Maybe you have a defective Mini?
Hi, DJI Assistant isn't required for firmware updates. Updates should come up when you turn on the aircraft, remote and app on your ipad. Also DJI Assistant is for downloading to a PC or Mac only as you connect the aircraft via USB cable directly to the computer.
You might also consider getting a tablet holder. The Ipad mini will just fit in the holder where the phone mounts but if you get a protective "gel" case for the Ipad it won't fit and this will solve the problem. Also it holds the Ipad above the controller instead of below the controller. This is...
That's the new Mini 5 which is even better than the 4. I would get that for sure, trust me you are going to love it. It beats using your cell phone as it's a bigger screen and doesn't use up your cell phone battery!
No sim card is needed if you buy a wi-fi only. Is this the one you are looking at? Amazon.com : Apple iPad Mini (Wi-Fi, 64GB) - Space Gray (Latest Model)
If you get the one without cellular you can hook it up via wi-fi to your cell phone hot spot if needed. Otherwise downloading the map before you leave your house as Old Man Mavic suggested works great also. I had to download a map when I went to my friends house up in the mountains of Vermont as...
I would recommend getting an Ipad 4 Mini. I use one with my Mavic Pro and Mavic 2 Pro and it works great. I have an Android phone I can use with both drones but definitely prefer the Ipad. More info can be found here [POLL] Apple, Android or CrytalSky for DJI GO 4? Why?
I'm confused when you state you spent $2,002.00 with accessories when the MPP sells for $999.00 or $1,249.00 with the Fly More Combo. What cost $750 more???
I agree. Shipping costs the seller and to assume it’s ok for the shipper to pay for shipping both ways which costs a minimum of $15 each way and I get to fly a drone at no cost is crazy. Once it has been opened and activated (flown) there should be a cost to the consumer. If there was no...
You bought your drone through Drone Nerds which is an authorized DJI seller. I bought my Mavic 2 Pro from them also and am extremely happy with them. I first saw their ad on EBay and did a little research and found out their company name. I bought directly from their website and got the same...
