Try connecting to Goggles to your computer and using the DJI Assistant to update the firmware. Also make sure the firmware on the drone and RC is up to date. Also see this: Goggles connected to Mavic Air goes black every few seconds

Did you check the battery level of the Goggles before you went out to fly? The battery in the Goggles does not hold its charge long term so if you charge it and then leave them for a week or so they will no longer be at full charge.

Because it's a digital connection sharing digital information, not an analogue source. In general you can't simply split a digital connection with a basic Y connector because often the contents of the digital connection is two way communications protocol requiring synchronisation between the two...

Picture needed better lighting so you could reduce ISO and therefore the overall noise level in your demonstration. Also, nice nails.

I had refresh when I got my air, didn't use it. Seemed a reasonable deal for the amount of cover provided in comparison to the cost. Not really looked at any other form of insurance for them though.

I use them while flying in doors. Outdoors they add drag and can act like sails in sudden gusts of wind. That said if you're flying in close proximity of people or objects you care about, always use them.
