Build date: 24th of March. But I hope you will not sell you Mavic because mine crashed. Users who crash use the forums a lot! So hopefully (probably) most Mavics are working just fine! And even thou I have to wait 4-5 weeks, I will hopefully end up getting a free repair.

Actually the firmware was just upgraded to .0600 prior to the crash.

Update on my case: After some long days of waiting...waiting...waiting... and even trying to contact DJI and getting brushed off I finally get some real progress. They will do a free warranty repair. Actually, I wanted a new craft but I am happy just to get anything after experiencing the level...

My drone was sent in a couple of weeks ago and now my status says "missing information - we will contact you". So I guess I will know something early next week.

My Mavic crash was not due to lose battery (according to everything I know). But I really want to defend the users who lost their drones because of a battery coming off in midair. This is not the first Drone that DJI makes and it seems obvious to me that a locking mechanism should be designed...

I did the firmware upgrade to 01.03.0550 when I first turned on the drone. It prompted me to do so, so I did it. Then I did calibration (90% sure it was in that order) and went flying. The firmware upgrade seemed to go just fine. The drone restarted and everything was fine.
