Well, I live in Canada and downloading apps not from Play Store is not automatic and then you get some complications with their further updates. But it is not an end of the world...
If you see the message on the screen about new version of firmware just connect your cell phone to WIFI and when you have your drone ready to take off update the firmware/software. After the update the drone turns itself off and has to be turned on. You can do it in your living room...;)
As of today Google Play Store hasn't updated DJI Fly to the newest version 1.3.0
However downloading and installation from the DJI website is flawless.
Make sure that you have enough space available on your Android cell phone in order to install it
