Yeah, but don't you have to be a Costco member to purchase at that price?
Anyway, right now I'd stick to a Pro if you can get it at one of these discounted prices. At $799 I'd be tempted to buy a back up but I'm not a Costco member. At $999 for the MP and $1099 for the MPP, i'd prefer the MPP...
Remains to be seen if the 100mbps rate will translate to better real world IQ. Is that bitrate available in all modes or just at the highest resolution/frame rate?
I'll pass on the Air and hope that the introduction of the Air pushes the MPP replacement closer to my ideal platform.
Thanks. Thought I read some speculation on here that it was supposed to get some trickle down robustness against moisture (IP43 or something along those lines). Anyway, still a nice looking set of specs.
Have any reviews mentioned the ability to fly in light rain/waterproofishness of the Air. I'd order one today if it would be a bit more robust weather wise...otherwise, I'll see what the M2 brings.
No, the new ESC's in the MPP represent new hardware. I believe the motors are the same but the physical ESC is different and is likely responsible for the majority of the 3 minute increase in flight time along with most of the apparent noise reduction.
