You're right! One data point determines a trend. Based on that approach we should also ban cars (because of a rollover accident that started a large wildfire in southern Utah). Also cigarettes, lighters, etc...and most of all...people! <sarc>

FWIW....I've been flying Quads since 2010 (made from shower curtain rods and an arduino board...fire it up and run like hell!). I currently have a number of homebuilds and racing quads, a MP, an Inspire1, and an Autel. I live in Ocean Shores and would be happy to meet up sometime...

Here's a link to a very comprehensive LiPo battery primer: Understanding RC LiPo Batteries Look towards the bottom for storage recommendations. I've been storing LiPos for as long as 2 years with the recommended storage charge (about 40%, or 3.8v per cell) with no adverse effects.

As a resident of the Big Island (Kona side...Alii Drive) I can say that the cops aren't like the ones on the mainland. I seriously doubt you'd get any resolution from them (if they even show up to take a report).

I like the new Quickshots also. Some temporal adjustments (speed/direction) is definitely in post though.
