My technique is as follows... 1 Notice bird or birds.... 2 Immediately begin decending 3 Fly mavic toward me.... 4 Land until birds have gone... This easy four step process has worked flawlessly for me.

I use a $80 Samsung j3 emerge smartphone that has never crashed a single time and I also will use my Samsung galaxy tab s3. Both work extremely well. Highly recommend both.
