They may have "evidence" they just probably haven't shared it with the public. When you figure out the enemy is spying on you then you generally don't release the details to the public since it might give away some of the sources or the methods... -

There literally has been no evidence provided to justify the US Customs embargo based on the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act. Zero. Nothing. Nor is there any evidence that our DJI drones are a threat to national security and are reporting back...
