I'm not sure I subscribe to that concept ... huge floats will effect flight both in terms of dynamics and longevity. With the slightest wind you should feel the effect. This added drag along with the added weight will reduce flight time. I never really bought into the floats since in addition...

Figured it out. You can do self unlock online at designated sites prior to your flight for batches of 3 days at a time here: DJI - The World Leader in Camera Drones/Quadcopters for Aerial Photography Pretty much same process as doing it on your phone, on-site otherwise.

What about if you need to submit an exception to fly in an FAA zone? You would not be able to do that without internet connection right? I presume one would need to do that ahead of time? Where did I see that online I forget ...

Yes thats true! I'd of that as another reason why this thing wouldn't be doing any sort of IMU calibration at startup - handlaunching wouldnt work then. For now I still prefer to land launch ... the props scare me to be honest lol.

Evidently they are still working on a Mavic Air version as of yesterday ... DJI Assistant 2 1.2.4 Exe file is not running on Windows 10 laptop We really need this since not all things can be done with the Go app like visual detection calibration.
