Served 24 years in the USAF. I was officially a Security Policeman, from the VietNam era to Desert Storm era. Attained the position of Master Instructer, and well versed in M2, M60, LAW, 81mm, claymores, and more, and chopper inserts/extracts and rope hanging at 100+ mph under a Huey, not by choice. I retired as E7 one week after literally telling my supervisor to go fornicate himself. He was a selfish bastard who didn’t give a **** about the people under him. After the USAF, I went to work at the Colorado Department of Corrections for 20 years. Gained more respect from inmates than I did from most staff for the fair and equal treatment of each. Knowing how to make read people goes a long way. I was fortunate enough to work in the mail room for 7 years and successfully stopped 1000s of $ in drugs and contraband from entering. Proud of my service to my country and my duty to the public.
