I vote for PTGUI. Even though it's a little pricey, I've never regretted getting it. Have produced many panos from both the Mavic 2 Pro and the Mavic 3 Cine. Of course then DJI in-drone processing is good too, but not as flexible or correctable as PTGUI.
I use MPIX (Mpix⢠Photo Lab | Create Quality Photo Prints & Gifts). The printing is superior to many print houses, including SnapFish, but the prices are a little higher.
Like I said several times, I do NOT rotate the polarizer in the air. There is a position (actually 2) that when aligned with the horizon permits all reflections to enter the lens. If this position is rotated 90 degrees, then it eliminates almost all reflections. This is how I set it before I...
No, I don't touch the polarizer on the drone very often once it is set to eliminate reflections. I understand how a circular polarizer works, and it is more flexible than you are describing.
I rotate the circular polarizer before I fly and it works fine for my intended purpose. On my hand-held camera, I rotate it as I need while I shoot. It's a great tool.
I use a PGYTECH circular polorizer on my Mavic 3 Cine to great effect. I only unmount it when I want to use a wide-angle or anamorphic lens. I shoot mostly in bright light over a large marsh; the polarizer greatly eliminates reflections, increases contrast and emphasizes the blues and greens...
Your scenery is breathtaking; your flying is wonderful; color is amazing. Your lens is a bit too wide-angle for me: I see lots of unnatural distortion in the turns, rotations, and dips to the side. A subjective opinion.
I bought my Mavic 3 Cine the first month they became available. Based on my experience with the Mavic 2 Pro, I bought the PGYTECH CPL Filter for DJI Mavic 3 Classic and put it on. I have never taken it off. I love the saturation of the blues and greens and the diminishing of water...
Just a heads up! The Pro Res software is part of why the Magic 3 is so expensive in the first place. You do not have to pay a continuing subscription fee to use it. Happy flying.
