I sent mine to maplins uk for refund... they said they cannot determine the faults cause.. they have now sent it off to dji and we are waiting on what they say... they warned me if they say its my fault i will have to pay for ot to be sent back to me... i feel a fight coming on with dji... also...
Well i have now found 4 different people saying the same thing and here some1 posted a pic. This is exatcly what mine looked like a thin black plastic sleeve was also slightly visable
Cyberpower further up i did link another problem from this fourm which the exact same issue... he just unfolded the arm there was a click and then it was dislocated... in a way im glad im not alone i dobt feel so hard done by lol
Mine is back at the shop... i agree with your comment on ppl forcing the arm the wrong way by acident, however i know i didnt i was very gentile with my little mavic, i also had the same click sound it seems you did...also i could tell that resetting any screws would not fix the problem.
Lol ... well i would say i must of unfolded the arms maybe 15 times so it for sure would of made it past quaility control. This just happened... gently unfolding arm and then a funny click noise and bam... dislocated arm...
Agreed i wish i took some photos now, but i was just so fustrated , i had a half day off work and was very much looking fowars to getting to know my mavic. If it was one of my racing quads i would of got the glue and solder out but i knew it would take some time before refund or replacment was...
I have taken it back to the shop now. (Maplins) when it happened i noticed a black sleeve that could be rotated with my finger nail. Also i could see alot of greese on the arm where it had come away from the body
