Its not just drone...however they seems to have the spotlight on them when things go wrong, Idiots arent confined to drones, we have them with weapons, cars, booze, boats..you name it everything attracts Idiots drones are not different.
I had an issue once with the lead from controller to phone, apparently the socket in controller gets is easily stuffed and, i changed to using a USB from contoller to phone and solved the problem
The way i see it...Anything built by man has a risk of failure, nothing can be certain not to fail. Buying a good brand like DJI you just have very low risks. I guess out of the millions that are made there are going to be a very small number of failures. I think thats just life with any man...
Thanks Thomas, Still gives one the jitters when flying over water. Man!!! You bought nine batteries???? I keep mine in a cool dry place so hopefully i will minimise the chance of that happening. Do you know if the improved on the latter batteries? Just thinking if its worth getting another one...
