    Mini 3 pro charging hub

An alternative is get a better charger than the lame DJI one. I use the Hanatora: fast charges 2 in parallel; saves space in the case; gives a clearer status on SOC. I have 3 batteries so I simultaneously either fly or charge the 3rd battery in the drone. To get the fastest charger rate, it...

Mavic 3 vs Mini 4 Pro image comparison

If you're happy, then change nothing. But for comparison, at the usual settings for outdoors landscapes, the 48MP of the 1/1.3" sensor for the Mini xx Pro/Air 3 clearly has more resolution in common circumstances, for example ISO 100 with lots of light but not too much. Low light, the m43 will...

Air 2S- Desperately seeking more upward gimbal tilt

For specs, here they are: Gimbal's Tilt Angle Specifications and Control for Your Drone and the Air 2s is: DJI Air 2S -135° to 45° -90° to 24° Where the second number is the controllable range and the first is some kind mechanical limit. The FOV on the Air 2s is 88 degrees. If that were...

Love my Air 3, but man, this Mini 4 Pro...

Nice Gaussian splat. I have to try that, thanks.

...and go home since the local regulations wouldn't allow the bigger drone. The camera you have always takes a better picture than the one you don't.

Air2s 4k photo is not nice

This is a DJI forum so most will tend to favor the Air 2s. The newer Fimi x8 Pro is using a 1/1.3" 48MP advertised with dual native ISO and native HDR. It is entirely possible this is same sensor as Mini 3 Pro/4 Pro/Air 3/Osmo Action 4. It's a much newer design than the Air 2s and many have...

    Can a battery affect signal??

The battery has a BMI with active electronics so yes, if something is damaged or failing, it could generate interference.

Ok, help me out... am I wrong?

Two things: 1. Read the law. It says what it says. The FAA does not have authority to write laws, they are in the executive branch. The FAA cannot simply decide that everything is commercial. 2. The only sticking point is whether looking at your roof is recreational or commercial. Don't get...

Ok, help me out... am I wrong?

The first 3 are recreational. The 4rth is giving benefit to someone who makes money from it and you might get publicity from it. Here's the law: https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/USCODE-2022-title49/pdf/USCODE-2022-title49-subtitleVII-partA-subpartiii-chap448-sec44809.pdf Don't base your...

    Looking To Film A Boat??

-if using any kind of tracking stay above 50' or so to avoid water reflections -keep an eye on sailboats. masts can be >75' sometimes more -set an RTH height >100' or more if there are buildings -remember that sport mode turns off obstacle avoidance -at least in the US, the Coast Guard is part...

This is the latest news out of New York City Concerning the Flying of Drones…

As Ben Franklin said, ""Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, are making a wise compromise." Sure, it's obvious that the NYPD is attempting an end run around the FAA that we all agree is the authority empowered by the people to regulate air space. Of...

Mavic 3 vs Mini 4 Pro image comparison

Pilot Institute usually does a nice side-by-side comparison. The Air3, Mini 3 Pro and Mini 4 Pro all have the sensor. As said the Mavic 4/3 is larger so catches more light. I would expect the Mavic 3 to be much better in low light. Good luck!

Mini 3 Pro had lossless digital zoom in video. Mini 4 Pro doesn't seem to have this?

Do you know of any DJI documentation on that? Or gotten good results? I also had thought the Mini 3 Pro has lossless zoom but any time I have used it turns out like this hot mess: I haven't used it much since the results were so poor.

Air 2 Here’s Hanbury Hall pano

Did you mean my link? (not an attachment, a *link* to Google photos.) It's 2024; if MavicPilots can't support a good quality photo then use a different tool. One is Google Photos and linking to it. Linking also avoids loading large photo files every time someone loads the forum page. If you...
