Time always wrong on videos when importing to Photos in Macbook

I have the same problem where the first one or two photos taken with the Mavic upload from the SD card to my Macintosh with a date of 1970. The rest of the dates for the subsequent photos on the same upload are usually fine.

    Drones in Japan

What's interesting about the Japan MoL map is how it jibes (or not) with the regulations: (i) Airspace around airports and above certain heights above ground level. (ii) Above densely populated areas (4,000 people per square kilometer or more). The green zone the MoL Map corresponds with (i)...

    Taking my mavic to Japan

Not sure why you say that. I visited the store, more than a shopfront, had a better line up of products compared to a half dozen stores I visited in Tokyo and Singapore, and were helpful.

    Japan's Drone Restrictions

Tokyo is a vast area ranging from urban concentration and suburban sprawl, to farms, mountains, lakes, and open fields. I believe that the restricted areas are focused on the urban and suburban areas. There is an official DJI store in Shinjuku. They would know more.

    Fly to Japan?

Flew on JAL from Singapore to Sapporo and Tokyo and back. Always carried my mavic pro as carry on with 3 batteries. I would place it separately in a bin in its carrying case when getting X-rayed as I do my laptop. No problems. One time an inspector looked at the batteries to check the power...

    First interaction with the police

Perhaps a compromise would help. Just as national parks have places where cars are allowed and not allowed to go, how about designated drone areas.

Almost lost Mavic in the wind!

It was a dark and stormy late afternoon, literally, in Japan. My mavic was being blown slowly away no matter how much throttle was applied. I was not in sport mode though reading the other posts (thanks), it might have helped. We started in an open area but a sudden strong wind forced it over...

    4K video playback choppy

I had the same problem when displaying an 4K video on my my MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013) 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 with 16GB of RAM. The problem is intermittent for the same video during re-playback which means it's not the Mavic. I noted that the display is a bit smoother on the...
