Once you're connected to your bird with your RC you can go into the menus to Authorizations and import it to the bird. Every time you power up your bird you need to import the unlock auth.

Has something changed with the DJI unlock process? I've completed the online unlock for two birds, imported the licenses to each bird and they both say that I can't take off. I have flown at this location with both birds many times before. Any help is appreciated.

When hand catching the MA let it hover at a reasonable height, grab it from the bottom and quickly turn it on its side. the props will stop automatically and it can all be done with one hand.
