No way! Man I just spent $800 for my Smart Controller. ?

A little while ago I posted a question whether I should buy the new Mini 2 or the Smart Controller. Long story short, I ordered the Smart Controller! Thanks for everyone's input, review and comments to follow.

Interesting experience, some of these small companies don't get the best attention from their suppliers, and they promise more than they can deliver. I'm glad it worked out for you!

JM, either are good choices both take great videos and pictures, noise levels should be about the same. The main things that the Mavic Air 2 have over the Mini 2 are, Better handling in stronger wind and forward obsticile (hope I spelled that correctly) avoidance, which could be a consideration...

Jeff, welcome! Your Mini 2 should be a lot of fun! I've used mine several times while out RVing here in Southern Utah. Around (not inside) Zions, Bryce, Snow Canyon, Lake Powell a lot of places to video. Have fun, fly safe!

Thanks for your reply, and a good question. I would like to have more than one drone but I also want to be able to use my phone when flying. I have been interrupted a few times on my phine while flying. $749 is a lot of cash for one device. Thanks.

Best advice I could give you is to start slow. Take your time and totally setup your drone, controller and Go Fly app. You don't want it running away or crashing your first time out. Watch a few YouTube videos on settings and getting started (I'm sure you probably already have, just saying)...

You can never have too many batteries! I have 4 for my MA2, not to mention the charging hub for multiple batteries. The FMP is the best value for your money. Buy it you will be glad you did!
