This may be an old thread but I have both. The full rails and the white landing legs. I don't always stay in the same area and sometimes need to land my drone in the desert where the land in uneven. There is also grass tall enough here to not see the drone after it lands. Just my $0.02.

Is it possible to use FPV goggles and a Mini 2 and look straight down at the ground while flying forward? Thanks, Thom

How did you view it? With spotters along the route of travel.

Yes they are considered wild. Some have gotten free of ranches in the area. But there is a stable along the Beeline Highway that takes care of them. Some people like them, some not so much. Nice picture.

I have already sent in my mini 2 for replacement. I tried attaching to the computer and went through all the DJI files and didn't find anything. Would the flight log be on my SD card instead? Thom

Drones on the mountain trails are a great idea. The trails should be closed whenever the temperature reaches 100 degrees though. The firemen shouldn't have to risk their lives for idiots. Just recently 8 women from out of state had to be rescued because they weren't used to the climate...

I haven't read anyting about this. Will the Mini 3 console work with a Mini 2?

Does anyone know if there is a maximum operating temperature for operating a Mini 2. Arizona does get hot and I don't want to crash because of the heat in Phoenix. Thanks, Tommy
