Maybe I'm missing something. All that I see from the comments is a drone operator that apparently thinks if they are controlling a drone from a public area that nobody else can use that area? it takes a very, very small area to land a drone. Looks like someone trying to make a mountain out of a...
In the iPads defense, several people have reported no issues with the mini 6.
I'm hoping I'll be happy with the tripltek, especially considering the cost. I do think that 8 inch range is the sweet spot for me. My eyes are getting old and prefer a bigger screen but a 10 inch just seems a little...
I had this same issue with an Ipad mini 6. I tried at least 6 different cables including the one that came with my Mavic air 2 and a couple of thunderbolt 3 cables. The cables I tried work fine with my Note 20. I eventually gave up and boxed the mini back up for return and ordered a tripltek 8...
I'm actually a little shocked. I realized I don't have any USB c to a adapters, only A to C but just out of curiosity, knowing it wouldn't work, I downloaded the fly app to my 5 year old Galaxy tab S3 and.... it worked. I took the air 2 out for a short spin, not a lot because it's pretty windy...
It just irks me because I believe Apple makes a solid product that will see a longer usable life span than most android products, and the inclusion of USB-C was the deciding force to get me to try it. I was not going to mess with yet another connector when nothing I have uses lightning. Now I...
As I've mentioned, I've tried multiple cables in every orientation possible to try to get a connection. The ipad was brand new, so I didn't feel I'd have an issue with the USB-C port, and it looked clean inside it, but just in case I did try to blow it out with air. Even with USB-C I've had...
In all fairness, others have reported no issues with using the Mini 6. This issue may be isolated. I did purchase the cellular version. I'm not sure that would make a difference but most of the success stories I've read are dealing with the wifi version.
I posted this exact post on the DJI...
I started a return on Amazon and boxed the ipad back up. I tried the cable that comes with the Mavic, the same cable I use without problem with my Note 20, I tried the cable that came with my StartRc tablet holder, I tried the Skyreat cable I had ordered and youtube showed to work with the Ipad...
I reset the ipad 3 times. It adamantly refuses to connect with the controller. My Note 20 connects fine, with the fly app automatically launching when I turn on the controller as it should, and camera view appearing as soon as the controller and drone link together. At this point the only thing...
My understanding is that the Air 2 doesn't use Go4, so I haven't tried it. I've been trying the Fly app and just in case it was an issue with it, I bit the bullet and purchased Litchi as well, and still have no connection. My android phone works beautifully, the Ipad connects to the computer...
