I have a FCC version so use 5.8 only. I use a parabolic reflector with a good result. I've never used yagi.

What if one combines (uses both at the same time) parabolic reflector with Yagi (for 5.8). Would that improve the gain even more?

According to the manual the RC should beep after pressing the power button for 4 seconds, which indicates entering the linking mode. It doesn't beep and it doesn't link to the drone which is in linking mode. Looks like I need to buy a new RC.
