Totally agree! DJI Fly is too minimal, not enough control on the camera. Litchi is much better, I use it often.

As an overall observtion (..without flight log analysis) 30% battery is where I used to set my low battery warning level. Taking off and flying BVLOS with a low battery is just bad decision making...just sayin.

I always reccomend to my students that they avoid taking off from a concrete surface due to potential problems from rebar. Don't know if the pavement the OP described was this type
