No the rc pro takes up the entire thickness of the lower foam. Leaving only a small like maybe 1/4" of foam under it

From my knowledge the OG owner or dji are only ones can unbind from accounts. It also will affect flight. You have 3 flights before you have a costly paperweight

I know they do. Trust me I got the combos lightly used for $1000-1200 with the RC Pro (rm510) and used the remote with my mavic 3. Just take a look around and might get lucky

I don't have one. But check around also your local Facebook Marketplace and Offerup. DJI made a short run of Air 2s combo with the RC Pro and people generally sell those used for $1000-1300. Buy it. Then sell off the Air 2s stuff for $800-900. Its how I got my first RC Pro. And later got a 2nd...

the air 2s did also come in a combo with the original smart controller and a limited run with the RC pro. just two other options to look for if wanting a better remote

you turn the remote and drone on then go into the remote setting to link drone. remote will start beeping then you press and hold the power button on the drone for a few seconds it too will beep then the remote stops beeping and say linking complete and you should see image from drone on screen...
