As a visitor to your beautiful country I have never had a problem. We fly in and out with Virgin Atlantic and internals with Jet Blue. Most airlines have clear instructions on what and where to pack your drone kit. Happy travels.

Great thread Dale. Very interesting and informed views expressed above. If I were you (and I’m 81 next month) I’d fly the M3 “into the ground” so to speak! You are clearly an experienced and sensible flyer with great photographic skills so just continue to experience the “old flying pensioner”...

Interesting responses above and from my experience very good guidance. All I can add (with my MA2) is, don’t panic. Think through what might be the cause and then try to remedy that or simply try the controls and if OK fly it to where you are. The use of the map is sound advice as per above...
