I was able to update via the controller by making sure that I had connected the controller to the network using my iPhone’s hotspot. Both controller and Mini 4 Pro updated.

How about DJI Googles 2 and/or RC Motion 2 controller?

Thanks much for all of the feedback. This appears to be a relatively complex to implement “approximate” solution. Might investigate it if someone has actually tried it successfully.

It appears that the altitude reading in the Go4 app is the altitude above/below the launch point. If I am correct, is there a way to set it to above ground level (AGL) from the drone’s immediate location? I know that this is probably just wishful thinking as the Mavic 2 doesn’t have ground...

So I have the Mavic 2 Zoom with the RC goggles and was using an iMac with Sierra. Had the same issue but already had Assistant 2 that I had loaded for the Mavic. Removed it rebooted and then installed the Assistant 2 recommended in the RC instructions along with the HoRNDS. Rebooted, powered up...
