I hear you regarding the Gimbal, I came from Inspire drones with awesome Gimbal control. Now I basically setup my shot with Autopilot™ APP and let it control the clunky gimbal.

Be glad when they have stopped the hacking well at least made it a lot harder than changing a few configuration numbers, the Mavic community on YOUTUBE™ has become a scoreboard of stupidity. Who can fly highest or furthest.... Maybe the Platinum is the future of this hobby drone, a locked down...

I'm pretty sure they'll have sorted out hundreds of little bugs and replaced huge amounts of hardware inside, but they won't advertise this to us. That would admit faults...:D

Lancer its true the Gimbal and Camera are the weak points BUT if you want a camera platform you should look towards the P4. The Mavic is a 'go anywhere' drone, this is its USP. You can't market it too close to another model in the range or you'd have NO RANGE. I'd guess this time 2018 we'll see...

No new battery, the redesigned props control the flow better. In turn more efficient with less drag on motor ie. more battery.

Very true, but do you mean the official Prop Guards/Cage? If so these use proprietary props don't they?

Stop the exploits to bypass NFZs and Altitude limits I'm guessing.

LOL I'll grab some props for the 'black-hawk' stealth mode, as for the 3 min additional time this isn't going to bother me too much. I'll try less procrastination next time I fly, that'll gain at least 3 min. ;)
