I agree - it is a cool little flyer, and very nimble! Of course, I thought the same thing when I moved from a Phantom 3 Pro to the Mavic Pro Platinum years ago. 😀 For the Mini 2, I keep an old iPhone 6s Plus in the controller all the time. Makes it quick and easy to just throw it up and go fly!

Ahhh, I see now... didn't know you were talking about phone still connected to RC. I don't know anything about virtual joystick emulator apps or how to run them on top of other apps - such as fly or go4. Hopefully someone who does know about such things will come along shortly. Good luck

Does DJI publish changelogs for anything? Go4, Fly, or any drone models? I've done cursory searches in the past but never found anything.

I'll give a 👍 for Litchi 🙂... waypoints function is great, planning a mission on your computer is the icing on the cake. You can also do 'faux fpv' by putting your phone in a pair of inexpensive VR goggles... lots of other neat functions too. I also like Go4 much better than the new Fly app...
