Do you use a spare phone for the DJI Mavic Mini controller
I purchased an I phone 6S that is a dedicated unit for the Mavic Mini. My LG V20 does not cut it because it has to be fully charged to fly, or the controller reverses back to charge my phone. I always get the message, RC not connected.- Verizon

firmware update is here
It worked for me. I have a LG V20 phone. Keeping fingers crossed it will work again. Read where someone suggested to make sure phone is charged 100% prior to flight. There had been issues with the USB. Performed great! -

Mav Mini Hiking Pack
For one for Christmas Lowbro 220. Gutted it. Mavic Mini case fits in perfect. Plenty of room for everything else. Open the back pack, you now have secondary layer of protection.
