I think that's right. The flyaway was caused by me mishandling the controls at the time. That is by pushing the return to home button twice and possibly other missteps. I did learn from this incident and I have had some great flights completely incident free since then.

After updating all the software I took both the Air2s and Mavic 3 for a flight using the RC PRO. I enjoyed the snappy responses, and solid connectivity, however I was very disappointed in the very long lag time in connecting with satellites and getting a strong GPS signal. Not wanting a flyaway...

I would normally never ever consider rebooting the controller in flight, or play around with it in mid flight. It was a panicked response while trying anything to get the craft back. I thought I had lost it but was lucky to get it back.
