BTW although I prefer the tablet mount on the right for the Asus z8s because its wider, the left mount works better as its a little longer and does not strain the phone mount/antenna.
The shorter, wider mount (on the right) pulls the controller mount out to its full stops.
If it was 2 cm...
I've been using the Asus z8s for a month or two now and it works great!! I made a shade for it and it's perfect in midday sun. My measure of functionality is if I can see the word "calibrate" in blue on the black safety screen its good enuf....and I can.

I used that vid and this link as guides to replace the left front and rear arms on my MA2 after it insisted on an RTH under an oak tree (tree won). Great detailed pics! Enuf to remind me of which screws went where...
I use this mount its light, small, and secure. I use an Asus z8s, but its made to fit the iPad mini. To secure the lanyard I use a fat o-ring that I found in this post. (Thanks MA@ 317!)...

I've got the verizon Asus Z8S and that seems to be playing very nicely with the Fly app. But your's has a bigger screen and...
ZT582KL works. From my muddling around, the others don't. But don't take that as gospel. What I do know is the Verizon model ZT582KL does.
Another factoid, this USB C 3.1 2nd gen cables...doesn't work either.
Really wish I could find out what spec DJI requires!!?!?!
Big thanks to aokusman and...
yep
Mine is "skinned" with the rolled orange vinyl from the craft store. Not so much for seeing it in the air, but to make it WAAAY more visible in a tree. damhik*
*damhik= Dont Ask Me How I Know
what he said.Thumbswayup
I got one a few days ago and it works great with MA2.
It is picky about the cable you use though. The stock cable works, but its too short. I tried a couple from amazon but THIS ONE was the only winner.
I also got THIS CLIP to mount it to the controller. Its just big...
