In one of the menus you can select to have the Red Front Lights turn off whenever you are recording video. Turn off the video and the lights should come back on.

I wouldn't disable the Auto-RTH feature. Just make sure that the RTH altitude is set high enough to clear any potential obstacles.

I agree. It's not worth the risk.

Who did the asking? Was it the management of the venue? Before you even consider doing such a thing make sure that the requester has a commercial liability insurance policy and names you as "An Additionally Insured". This can be a high risk undertaking so don't be shy about CYA.

The displayed altitude of the drone is relative to the take-off point not its actual altitude above the ground except when it is hovering directly above the take-off point.

There is a black metal screen between the fan's intake and the camera. Make sure the screen isn't touching the hub of the fan or it can't start. I had this problem and bought a new fan thinking that the fan had failed. After opening the Mavic to replace the fan I discovered the real problem.
