Can one controller (RC2) control two drones?

If I power up the drone first, then the controller, it loads it automatically. If I power the controller first, then the window pops up with the different possible drones you can run with it and you choose which one you want to load. At least, that's how mine works.

Can one controller (RC2) control two drones?

I use my RC2 to control either my Mini 4 Pro, or my Neo. The controller asks on bootup to choose which one, and then it loads the appropriate firmware.

    Night Flight

Nice. Can I ask what you were flying for the video?

4G dongle - "unofficially supported" countries

Yes - ditto in Canada here. And it's too bad since the new rules allow for sheltered operations BVLOS around buildings for inspections and for EVLOS up to 2 nm for mapping/surveying. 4G would be a really handy thing to have for these operations.

4G dongle - "unofficially supported" countries

Well, it's not on the list, so I would contact DJI for clarification. Just use the chat function on their webpage - they've always been very forthcoming when I talked with them.

4G dongle - "unofficially supported" countries

All of the drones listed there can use 4G in the countries listed. The difference is in the dongles - the first dongle is for the Mini 3 Pro and the Mavic 3 series and the second dongle - "dongle 2" is made specifically for the Air 3s, Air 3 and Mini 4 Pro. There is only one cell in the table...

Over the past 8 years, drone noise levels have shown no improvement

I doubt the beeping from the controller had much of an effect on the measurement since I measured the noise at 1 meter, which is standard for measuring noise from sound systems since it reduces the effects of ambient noise and reflections. The controller was at least 10 feet away from the...

4G dongle - "unofficially supported" countries

I'm not sure what you're looking at - but the list is not lengthy, there's one table and a box showing the countries where the dongle can be used - at the time of printing. Are we talking about different things?

4G dongle - "unofficially supported" countries

I did post the link further up - but just for you, here's the link again. https://support.dji.com/help/content?customId=en-us03400008285&spaceId=34&re=GB&lang=en&pbc=mF6h4ZTt

Japan's ACSL Drone is New Thermal by FLIR Collaborator.

Interesting flexibility. 25 minute flight time seems a bit short. Any pricing information?

Over the past 8 years, drone noise levels have shown no improvement

Here is a link to a video of all 4 drones tested. I measured the sound level at 1 meter. The camera was about 6 feet away. Neo - 71 dB, Mini 4 Pro - 67 dB, Mavic 3E - 71 dB and Matrice M30 - 80 dB.

Over the past 8 years, drone noise levels have shown no improvement

Just saw this now. Sure - It would be interesting to compare them side by side and make a video. I think I'll include by Neo for fun as well. I'll have to wait for a windless quiet day here to run the experiment.

4G dongle - "unofficially supported" countries

Each country controls access to the cellular network. That has to happen first. In the US, the relevant bodies have not authorized access yet - so the dongle doesn't work there - same in Canada here. Once that's OK, you will still need to get access to DJI's servers to enable it properly.

4G dongle - "unofficially supported" countries

Here's a link to the list showing the countries where the dongles can be used for 4G transmission. Yes - I see that Australia is not on the list - but perhaps the list is out of date? You can also contact DJI and ask them about which country(s) you are interested in...

4G dongle - "unofficially supported" countries

There's a list on the DJI website about which countries DO support 4G flight. That should answer your question.
